Calmel & Joseph - Terroirs - Vieux Carignan 2015
17/20
Jancis Robinson
With a hint of pepper on the nose, Calmel & Joseph’s Vieux Carignan offers a lovely suppleness on the palate. With notes of ripe black fruit and garrigue typical of the variety, it delivers a rich, indulgent taste. Made from century-old Carignan vines, it offers excellent value for money.

About the estate:
The perfect choice for those who want to discover fine Languedoc wines that remain true to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without their own cellars. A very subtle attack, with a full-bodied finish. Very pleasant with a mildly spicy dish
