“Charismatic, a wine with character yet full of finesse”

The 2022 Roc d'Anglade Red captivates from the very first whiff with its aromas of crushed strawberries, irresistibly rich with a delicate hint of violet. This complex wine offers a lovely freshness that perfectly balances the whole. A superb wine that will improve with age. Please note: limited quantities available.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 94/100 (2021 vintage)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Rémy Pédréno has been based at this 9-hectare estate in the historic Langlade region since 1999, alongside his wife Martine. Having previously worked in the northern Rhône, notably at Domaine Rostaing, this passionate winemaker from Nîmes quickly established himself among the region’s leading producers, crafting elegant, taut, and airy wines on this marl-limestone terroir that has been renowned for centuries. Aging in large oak casks and meticulous management of the lees have taken this estate to a new level, making it an undisputed benchmark today. Jeremy Stevenson joined Martine and Rémy after gaining experience in New Zealand, Alsace, Chile, and Oregon.
