"All the elegance of a great Languedoc red wine"

A vibrant vintage from Rémy Pédréno: a characterful Mediterranean red with notes of blackcurrant and wild cherry, supported by fine tannins and the unique freshness of the Anglade hillsides. Superb!

Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100 (2023 vintage)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Rémy Pédréno has been established on this 9-hectare estate in the historic Langlade terroir since 1999, along with his wife Martine. Having previously worked in the Northern Rhône, notably at Domaine Rostaing, this passionate winemaker from Nîmes quickly established himself among the region's leading producers, crafting elegant, taut, and ethereal wines from this marl-limestone terroir, renowned for centuries. Aging in large oak casks and meticulous lees management have propelled the estate to a new level, making it an undisputed benchmark. Jeremy Stevenson joined Martine and Rémy after gaining experience in New Zealand, Alsace, Chile, and Oregon.

Note and opinion by Mr. JEAN-MICHEL P. Published on 17/01/2026

A slightly restrained nose that takes a while to open up to notes of red berries, which are, however, very present on a delicate palate where the finesse of the tannins is universally appreciated. Excellent. Perhaps a 4.5.
