La Pèira en Damaisèla blanc 2019
91-93/100

17/20
Jancis Robinson
"Small-scale production"
This cuvée, produced in small quantities, delivers a creamy and smooth white wine with aromas of ripe apricot, exotic notes, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is dense and flavorful, with fruit at the center tinged with honeyed notes and vanilla. The tension brings balance and good length on the finish.

A wine that surprisingly reminded me of a Burgundy on the nose, but on the palate you can tell you're definitely in the South. It's a very fine Southern white, excellent on the day it's opened, but completely flat and lifeless the next day, despite being pumped.

A bit disappointing considering the price, quite alcoholic
