La Pèira

Created in 2004, La Pèira is owned by Karine Ahton and Robert Dougan, and is located in the Sainte-Brigitte area (Jonquières / Saint-André de Sangonis).

The La Pèira vineyard comprises 11.4 hectares of vines in the parcels and localities of Bois de Pauliau, Belle Fiolle (Bellefeuille) and Les Pointes. The vineyard's soil is mainly clay with stony deposits and an alluvial subsoil.

La Pèira wines are of a very high quality level, which the specialized press has not hesitated to describe as equivalent to the 1er crus classés of Bordeaux and the Grands Crus of Burgundy. Each year, La Pèira produces an average of 300 cases of the grand vin La Pèira, and 500 cases of the second wine, Las Flors de la Pèira.
