"Guaranteed success

A deep, complex vin de pays on the nose, opening with aromas of spices and red fruit, reminiscent of redcurrant and blackcurrant. Dense, fresh and structured on the palate, with a long, spicy finish, power and character, supported by silky tannins... A perfect match for local cuisine!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (guide 2025) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

Creisses refers to pebbles. Philippe Chesnelong took over this family estate in 1990. He is assisted by his cousin Louis Mitjaville, whose reputation has spread far beyond Saint-Émilion. The cuvée les-brunes is generally powerful, while the cuvée des creisses is more immediate and bursts with flavor. A truly fine address.
