"This IGP wine could fool anyone in a blind tasting—it's a great wine! (Customer review by ERIC E. Published on 09/01/2020)"

The Les Brunes vintage is characterized by a beautiful, intense aromatic bouquet, with notes of spices, blackcurrant, and licorice, complemented by lovely hints of vanilla. A delicious, rich, and indulgent red wine, balanced and full of fruit, with powerful yet refined tannins and excellent aging potential.

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Les Creisses refers to pebbles. Philippe Chesnelong took over this family estate in 1990. He is assisted by his cousin Louis Mitjaville, whose reputation extends far beyond Saint-Émilion. The Les Brunes cuvée generally plays on power, while the more immediate Les Creisses cuvée explodes with flavor. A truly excellent choice.
