"Equal parts Grenache and Syrah (40% each), with a touch of Carignan, make up this charming wine, which gently opens with notes of stewed black fruits and spices. On the palate, it starts off supple, then gains body, supported by silky, soft tannins." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

About the wine:

Made from equal parts Grenache and Syrah (40% each), with a touch of Carignan, this charming wine gently opens with notes of stewed black fruit and spices. On the palate, it starts off supple, then gains body, supported by silky, soft tannins.

About the estate:

The Château d'Argentiès, a 450-hectare estate comprising 52 hectares of vineyards, dates back to before 1793. Located in Lagrasse, a medieval village, its vineyard has been converted to organic farming (certified in 2014).
