Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

Located 5 km from Carcassonne on the banks of the Canal du Midi, this is one of the oldest wine estates in the Malepère region, with origins dating back to the 13th century and the Roger Cahuzac de Caux family, and the vineyard to the 16th century. Acquired in 1871 by the ancestors of the current owners—a long-established local family—the estate experienced its first period of growth around 1900. Its recent revival is linked to the renovation of the cellar in 2015 by the Boyer family, who took over the estate (70 ha, including 55 ha of vineyards).

Beautiful deep ruby color Aromas of blueberry and eucalyptus Rich on the palate, with blueberry jam and a touch of freshness; balsamic and eucalyptus notes lead to a long, flavorful finish A truly beautiful wine
