Château Beaufort
Château de Beaufort is a winery located in the Minervois region, owned by Jérôme Portal. It spans 170 hectares, 70 of which are dedicated to vineyards. The terroir offers a splendid mosaic of landscapes dominated by Aleppo pines.
Special attention has been paid to vineyard planting in the region since the early 1980s. Château Beaufort cultivates its vineyards with passion. Certified HVE Level 3, the estate is in the process of converting to organic farming, and the 2023 vintage will mark the long-awaited certification in organic agriculture.
Château Beaufort produces red wines suitable for aging, concentrated, with plenty of body but featuring fine, elegant tannins. The vintages are named after former owners of this wine estate.
