Vignoble du Loup Blanc
The Vignoble du Loup Blanc is located in the hamlet of La Roueyre, near Bize-Minervois. It is the estate of Alain Rochard, Nicolas Gaignon, Carine, and Laurent Farre, who have been partners since acquiring the estate in 2002.
The Vignoble du Loup Blanc comprises 18 hectares divided into small plots located in Bize, in the part of the Minervois known as “Les Causses,” a terroir in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, at the northeastern edge of the appellation. The diverse Languedoc grape varieties take root in soil composed of limestone and red clay. The altitude and cool nights allow for slow ripening of the grapes. The Vignoble du Loup Blanc is cultivated using certified organic farming methods, supplemented by biodynamic practices. Winemaking is carried out as naturally as possible.
The wines of Vignoble du Loup Blanc are crafted with a wholesome and rich approach, aiming to preserve freshness and a pure expression of the terroir, combining complexity, minerality, and balance.
