Peter Sichel

In 2019, his grandson, Alexander Sichel—who shares the same love for this magnificent place—decided to take over the vineyard and rename the estate“Domaine Peter Sichel” in honor of his grandfather. From that moment on, the estate’s entire vision was reimagined; the vineyard’s area was reduced by 50%, taking care to retain the best plots within the IGP Pays de Cucugnan appellation. To reinforce the estate’s environmental values, the conversion to organic and biodynamic farming began for the 20 hectares of vines.

Today, the wines of Domaine Peter Sichel are superbly crafted and reflect the beautiful terroir and mountains of Cucugnan.
