It all began in the Cucugnan Valley with Peter Sichel, a true lover of this terroir and the beauty of the site; he began working the land with passion and producing superb vintages.
In 2019, Alexander Sichel, his grandson, who shares the same love for this magnificent place, decided to take over the vineyard and rename the estate "Domaine Peter Sichel," in homage to his grandfather. From that moment on, the estate’s entire vision was reimagined; the vineyard’s size was reduced by 50%, taking care to preserve the best plots within the IGP Pays de Cucugnan. To affirm the estate’s environmental values, the conversion to organic and biodynamic farming began for the 20 hectares of vines.
Today, the wines of Domaine Peter Sichel are superbly crafted and reflect the beautiful terroir and mountains of Cucugnan.
