Les Grandes Costes Estate
Located in the small Languedoc village of Vacquières, north of Montpellier, the estate Les Grandes Costes covers 14 hectares. At the helm is Jean-Christophe Granier, a former wine journalist, who took over the family estate—founded in 1868—at the turn of the millennium. He renamed the estate Les Grandes Costes, located at the foot of the Cévennes foothills, and now produced under several appellations: AOP Pic Saint Loup, Languedoc, and IGP Saint Guilhem le Désert.

Set against a backdrop of garrigue, between the mountains and the sea, Jean-Christophe Granier is dedicated to producing "Signature" wines, crafted with respect for the environment and true to the terroir: Mediterranean and continental influences, limestone and clay-limestone soils, sustainable viticulture and soil management (now certified HVE Level 3), traditional grape varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan), and controlled yields.

The wines of the Les Grandes Costes estate come in two ranges: the "pleasure" cuvées from Mas Canaille, evoking childhood memories; and the Les Grandes Costes estate cuvées, rooted in a spirit of heritage, expressing the full character and pure essence of Languedoc grape varieties. These are wines that don’t cut corners, staying true to the Languedoc terroir for our greatest pleasure. A Favorite discovery Favorite
