Terre de l'Élu

In the heart of the Anjou Noir region, the Terre de l’Élu estate sits on schist soils rich in volcanic and metamorphic rocks, which promote drainage and heat retention. Benefiting from a temperate climate influenced by both oceanic and continental factors, and thanks to south-facing slopes, the vines enjoy optimal sunlight, imparting maturity and character to the wines. 

The wines of the Terre de l'Élu estate come from six specific vineyard sites, each reflecting a unique terroir: L’Aiglerie, Les Barres, Les Bruandières, Chaume, Le Vaux, and Ardenay. This diversity of plots allows us to produce a range that combines pure-expression cuvées, revealing the full identity of each terroir, as well as more complex blends, offering a nuanced and complementary interpretation of the same grape variety.
