About the estate:
Stéphane Breton took over from his father Jean-Marc in 2012 at the head of a 13.5-hectare estate (certified organic) located on the clay-limestone and sandy soils of Restigné, an important commune in the Bourgueillois region.

Drunk in April 2020. Nice balance on the palate with lovely fruitiness. It's fresh, lively, seductive—a little more length and it would have been perfect.

Here is a very attractive bottle. From the nose to the palate, it offers aromas of ripe red fruit. The attack is clean with a lovely freshness due to well-controlled acidity, followed by well-integrated tannins. This is a cuvée to be enjoyed within 4-5 years.

One star because there is no rating without stars. Bland wine, no depth. Defective bottle? Destined for a wine sauce, and even then... Disappointed! Very disappointed!
