"Grown on clay-limestone soils planted with sixty-five-year-old vines, this Bourgueil displays an impressive bouquet of ripe black and red fruits. On the palate, it is very well-structured and refreshing, supported by fine, velvety tannins and rounded off by a long, delicious, fruity finish." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

Tasted in April 2020. A nice balance on the palate with lovely fruitiness. It’s fresh, lively, and seductive; with just a bit more length, it would have been perfect.

Here is a very lovely bottle. From the nose to the palate, it offers aromas of ripe red fruits; the attack is clean, with a lovely freshness thanks to well-controlled acidity, followed by well-integrated tannins... This is a wine best enjoyed within 4 to 5 years.

Pretty decent for a bottle at this price—still quite affordable! 2015 was a good vintage, I think.

One star because you can't give a rating without a star Bland wine, no depth—was the bottle defective? I used it in a wine sauce, and even then... Disappointed! Very disappointed!
