Pierre & Bertrand Couly

The Pierre and Bertrand Couly estate, founded in 2004, is located in the heart of the town of Chinon and benefits from the climate and exposure of the St Louans terroir, a terroir well known for Chinon wines as it was classified as a grand cru in the 1942 classification.

Pierre and Bertrand Couly produce wines of great character and magnify the Cabernet Franc grape variety on a vineyard that now covers 17 hectares. The rosés are magnificent and the reds are delicious in their youth. They offer silky textures that are among the best in the Loire Valley. And if you are patient enough to wait, they will reveal the roundness and fullness of this wonderful terroir.
