Hachette
"Magnificent sweetness that brings out the exoticism of the wine. Exemplary balance and freshness!"
"Inaugurating the estate's new range, this recently created cuvée from schist terroirs adds a new distinction to an impressive list of Favorites. It is made from 100% botrytis grapes, vinified and aged in barrels for a year. The result is a beautiful sweet wine with an intense nose of dried fruit, ripe grapes, prunes, dates, and honey, offering great concentration, impressive volume and structure, with an underlying freshness that ensures balance. A powerful, expressive, and long finish, built to last." (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

About the estate:
Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined in 2003, 2006, and 2009 respectively, this has been a family business since 1920; originally covering 5 hectares, it now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in Haut-Layon, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very comfortable with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
