Rated estate (2025 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About wine:

With notes of white flowers and orchard fruits, this crémant offers a fresh and balanced palate. A simple and tasteful sparkling wine, ideal as an aperitif, paired with a platter of shrimp, for example.

About the estate:

Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined in 2003, 2006, and 2009 respectively, this has been a family business since 1920; originally covering 5 hectares, it now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in Haut-Layon, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very comfortable with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
