"Balanced, round, and lively, a delicious vintage at a great price!"

The Denis Family Sauvignon reveals a beautifully intense nose, blending white peach, almond, and honeysuckle. On the palate, the attack is clean and taut, supported by a lovely aromatic persistence that highlights its freshness. A lively and harmonious wine, where the fruit aromas express themselves brilliantly.

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated wine (2026 guide) 1*Star (2024 vintage) (Very successful wine)

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the estate:

Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined in 2003, 2006, and 2009 respectively, this has been a family business since 1920; originally covering 5 hectares, it now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in Haut-Layon, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very comfortable with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
