Bérioles Estate
The Bérioles Estate is leading a revival in the Saint-Pourçain appellation. The turning point for this 15-hectare family estate came in 2011 when Jean Teissèdre joined his parents, Odile and Olivier Teissèdre, to create a new winery in an old Bourbonnais building and begin bottling and selling their wines. Passionate about viticulture and with a wealth of experience, Jean is now supported by his sister Sophie and her husband Jérôme Roux. The Bérioles Estate is now certified organic and is moving toward biodynamic farming.

The Bérioles Estate This winery stands out in this small Loire appellation for its distinctive style, producing precise, taut wines with remarkable finesse. A unique feature of the whites is the inclusion of Tressallier, a native grape variety replanted a few years ago, which brings true originality and diversity compared to the region’s traditional Chardonnay. The red wines are made from Pinot Noir and Gamay.
