"A superb, flavorful, and indulgent vintage, surprisingly structured and marked by silky tannins."

Grown on granite soils and aged in truncated wooden vats, this cuvée expresses richness, freshness, and roundness. A delightful wine that pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, charcuterie platters, and offal.

About the estate:

This 16-hectare family estate, located at the foot of a small chapel and crossed by the Way of St. James, was created in 1989 by Odile and Olivier Teissèdre, who used to deliver their grapes to the cooperative winery. Since 2011 and the creation of the winery, their son Jean has been at the helm. The estate has been certified organic, with a focus on biodynamics, since 2019.

Wine rating (2023 guide) 90/100 (2020 vintage)

Rated estate (2024 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Jean Teissèdre quickly established himself as the embodiment of Saint-Pourçain's revival. In 2011, he took over the family vineyards that supplied the cooperative winery. His precise and lively style is reflected in his reds (Pinot Noir and Gamay) and whites (Chardonnay and Tressallier, an old local grape variety to which he is restoring its former glory). The salinity of the whites and the finesse of the reds are refined with each vintage thanks to increasingly precise viticulture and winemaking techniques.
