Daniel Crochet
This family-owned estate, located between Bué and Sancerre, is now in the hands of the fourth generation and is run by Daniel Crochet and his wife, Véronique. Since 1996, the estate Daniel Crochet has expanded and now covers 9.75 hectares, with 6.37 hectares planted to Sauvignon and 3.38 hectares to Pinot Noir. This estate produces Sancerre wines of great consistency from one year to the next, while remaining true to the terroir’s distinctive character.

The Daniel Crochetvineyard consists primarily of two main soil types: the “Terres Blanches,” composed of clay and limestone, and the “Caillottes,” which are very stony and limestone-rich. The vineyards are managed using sustainable, biologically-oriented practices, without the use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides.
