This family estate located between Bué and Sancerre is now in the hands of the fourth generation and run by Daniel Crochet and his wife Véronique. Since 1996, the estate Daniel Crochet has expanded and now covers 9.75 hectares, with 6.37 hectares of Sauvignon and 3.38 hectares of Pinot Noir. This estate produces Sancerre wines of great consistency from year to year, respecting the typical characteristics of the terroir.
The Daniel Crochetvineyard consists mainly of two main types of soil: Terres Blanches, composed of clay and limestone, and Caillottes, which are very stony and calcareous. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods with a biological influence, without the use of chemical fertilizers or weed killers.
