François Crochet

François Crochet works in the Sancerre AOC at Marcigoué. He manages a vineyard of just over 10 hectares of Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, divided into some 30 plots in four communes: Bué, Sancerre, Crézancy and Thauvenay.

Domaine François Crochet benefits from a wide variety of terroirs (limestone, clay-limestone and flint). Half the vines are grassed, the other half worked: ploughing, hoeing, scratching... The entire Domaine François Crochet is hand-harvested and now produces a consistent, high-quality AOC Sancerre range.
