François Crochet

François Crochet operates in the Sancerre AOC in Marcigoué. He manages a vineyard comprising just over 10 hectares of Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, divided into about thirty plots across four municipalities: Bué, Sancerre, Crézancy, and Thauvenay.

The entire Domaine François Crochet benefits from a wide variety of terroirs (limestone, clay-limestone, and flint). Half of the vineyards are grassed, while the other half are cultivated through plowing, hoeing, and scraping… All grapes at Domaine François Crochet are harvested by hand, and the estate now produces a consistent, high-quality range of AOC Sancerre wines of great uniformity.
