François Crochet

François Crochet operates in the Sancerre AOC in Marcigoué. He manages a vineyard comprising just over 10 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, spread across some thirty plots in four communes: Bué, Sancerre, Crézancy, and Thauvenay.

The entire Domaine François Crochet benefits from a wide variety of terroirs (limestone, clay-limestone, and flint). Half of the vineyards are grassed, while the other half are cultivated through plowing, hoeing, and scraping… All of Domaine François Crochet’s grapes are harvested by hand and now produce a consistent, high-quality range of AOC Sancerre wines of great consistency.
