Superb new 2009 vintage, 2008 rated: RVF 16/20, Bettane & Desseauve 16/20
Sancerre Réserve de Marcigoué comes from the limestone terroirs of Petit Chemarin and Grand Chemarin. It has lovely tannins, though still a little tight, which suggest great potential. Not to be missed!

Domaine noté (guide 2011) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

"This thirty-something gentleman has been making a name for himself since 2000 with red Sancerre, but his ambitions don't stop with Pinot Noir. His Sauvignons are also rising in range and precision, expressing themselves in a rich, ripe style typical of the Bué area - particularly the Chêne Marchand sector."
