Paul Prieur & Sons Estate
Winemakers in Sancerre for 11 generations, the Paul Prieur & Fils estate is located at the top of the village of Verdigny, at the foot of the Monts Damnés hill. Today, Luc Prieur runs the estate (since the 2012 vintage) with sincerity, passion, and traditional methods. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are concentrated on the limestone terroirs of Verdigny and Chavignol over 14.5 hectares (Caillottes and Terres Blanches), as well as on the Silex terroirs of the village of Thauvenay, on the banks of the Loire.

The reds are produced in a place called "Les Pichons." This 5-hectare site is almost entirely owned by the Paul Prieur & Fils estate and was planted in the 1950s using mass selection. It adjoins the estate and is located below the Monts Damnés hill. The estate's vines are cultivated using traditional methods and are 100% organic. The first AB-certified vintage will be in 2022. Weedkillers, insecticides, and anti-rot treatments are prohibited.
