“A third of the harvest was left on the vine, lending the fruit sweetness and vibrancy. An intense, luminous wine with crisp tannins.” (RVF 2014 Vintage Special—June 2015) With its ruby-red color, Camille offers a concentrated nose featuring notes of black fruit coulis (blackcurrant, blackberry...) delicately intertwined with toasty nuances from its barrel aging. The palate is round and rich, with silky tannins that suggest a great wine with aging potential. A truly beautiful Sancerre!

About the estate:

Julien and Clément Raimbault cultivate 21 hectares on the hillsides of Maimbray and Sury-en-Vaux, in clay-limestone soils. Their very consistent lineup features well-rounded wines in both red and white, with reds that combine power and elegance and whites that are pure and refined. All at very reasonable prices. A sure bet.
