This vineyard plot is situated on a very complex soil composed of sandy silt overlying bedrock consisting of weathered green and purple schists, sandstone, and phanerites. The plot is located on a steep, south-facing slope where Mediterranean flora thrives.

Alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels, following cold static settling. Malolactic fermentation was not carried out to preserve the wine's structure.

Livestock Farming

Aged for 12 months on fine lees in new 228-liter oak barrels (10%) and barrels that have held 1 to 8 previous vintages, followed by 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Regular stirring of the lees.
