Made from 25-year-old vines planted in clay-siliceous soils overlying an Aquitanian limestone subsoil, the 2020 Côt Les Séminées opens with a bright, delicate, and fresh bouquet of blueberries and blackberries, interwoven with subtle spicy notes of white pepper. Silky and elegant on the palate, this is a balanced and refreshing Malbec, with fine yet intense tannins that provide structure to the plump, juicy fruit. The Séminées is softer and has a purer fruit profile than its counterpart, the Mont Luma, and it finishes with a vibrant, fresh, and refined aftertaste, displaying bite and tension. Its clear and fresh expression is truly invigorating.
