About wine:
A hint of smoke and toast appears first, with the echo of a slight reduction. The fine tannin structure on the palate holds the oak and surprisingly dark fruit. Very juicy, fruity, and bold, this Pinot Noir from Felton Road was aged in only 25% new oak.

About wine:
The 2021 Bannockburn Pinot Noir offers beautiful tension and muscle. I like it because it is understated and wrapped in a veil of acidity and tannic tension. Tart red cherry, Damascus fruit, wild herbs, a hint of nutmeg—it's all very pleasant. Long, fragrant, and excellent value for money, with commendable tannins.
