Wine rated (2023 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
The 2021 Calvert Pinot Noir is a highly aromatic wine, with notes of flowers, wild herbs, fennel, and licorice, which create interesting nuances alongside the red cherry and raspberry flavors that emerge on the finish. The tannins are refined and seem to coat the palate with a finesse reminiscent of cocoa powder. The finish is long and lingering, with a taut acidity.
