Seresin

Seresin
It was in 1992 that Seresin Estate took root in the heart of the sublime Marlborough wine region, New Zealand's most famous.
Seresin Estate is the brainchild of filmmaker Michael Seresin, director of photography on major films such as "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," the "Planet of the Apes" saga, "Gravity," and "Midnight Express."

Far from Hollywood, he decided to give free rein to his passion for wine and set up his estate, inspired by Tuscan farms, in harmony with the New Zealand environment and ecosystem. Seresin Estate's 167 hectares are divided between one-third vineyards and the remaining two-thirds planted with 5,000 olive trees and home to numerous animals. The key words are: linking the typical characteristics of the soil, biodynamics, and working with horses: "the New World with the attitude of the Old World." The estate's terroirs are developed across two vineyards in the Wairau Valley with its warm climate, and one in the Omaka Valley with its cooler clay soils.

The estate's logo and the meaningful open handprint that adorns the labels of Seresin's main vintages symbolize the values of the property, spearheaded by creativity, craftsmanship, and heart. Discover this jewel of New Zealand.
