Domaine de Frégate

According to legend, the Domaine de Frégate takes its name from a ship that ran aground on the shore where the vineyard now stands. Nestled in an exceptional and privileged setting on the hillside of Bandol overlooking the sea, the Domaine de Frégate spans 30 hectares of vineyards planted on clay-limestone, stony, very arid soil with low yields. It is this unique climate—both sheltered and open—that gives the Domaine de Frégate’s “ ” Bandol wines their distinctive character.
