Clos de l'Ours

Nestled in the heart of a cirque, surrounded by forests, Clos de l’Ours celebrates biodiversity and pays tribute to the estate, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages. Cultivated using biodynamic methods, the 15-hectare vineyard—with vines averaging about 50 years of age—thrives in the northern part of the Côtes de Provence appellation. Located in Cotignac, the significant daily temperature range allows Clos de l’Ours’s wines to combine freshness and fruitiness. The Brontons family embarked on this adventure in 2012, and since then, the parents, together with their two children, have been crafting their wines to showcase the best of their estate’s fruit. Driven by passion, the Clos de l’Oursteam producesauthentic and elegant wines that express the distinctive character of the various grape varieties grown there.
