Domaine de la Croix - Côtes de Provence Cru Classé Éloge rouge 2022
"A signature vintage!"
A blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre, Michel Rolland adds his own personal touch with 12 months of barrel aging. The result is a wine with elegant tannins and a long, lingering finish that retains the freshness and distinctive character of its Mediterranean terroir. It pairs perfectly with duck, roast pigeon, and a chocolate fondant with morello cherry coulis.

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
Owned by the Bolloré Group, this 108-hectare classified growth has returned to the forefront thanks to judicious investments. La Bastide Blanche, owned by the same proprietor but much smaller, produces wines from 13 hectares of vineyards. The wines display excellent consistency across all color categories, demonstrating the steadfast quality of the winemaking process. However, they still lack complexity and personality relative to their cru status.
