Domaine Sainte-Marie
The history of the Sainte Marie estate is almost magical. In 1884, a severe cholera epidemic ravaged the region but miraculously stopped at the estate's gates. A statue of the Virgin Mary was then erected to thank her. This is how the estate became the Sainte Marie estate.
Several winegrowers followed one another until today, when the Duburcq family took over the estate in 2007 and has been running it with a masterful hand ever since.
Domaine Sainte Marie places great importance on respecting the environment and practices organic and biodynamic agriculture.
