A great success for a modest vintage; try a 2009 or 2010.

Review by Mr. PIERRE P. Published on March 7, 2013

Aromas of stewed fruit and prunes, with a hint of oak. Full-bodied, though a "bit" too alcoholic for my taste. A truly "robust" Côtes du Rhône that pairs wonderfully with a typical Mediterranean meal (tomato-based, garlicky, spicy...). One downside: My last two bottles, opened in late 2012, had developed a “maderized” flavor… best kept for 6 years, no more.
