RVF (G&M)

"It stands out among the 2013 vintage thanks to its extra smoothness. It is well-rounded, with a finish of red and wild berries. Already good and accessible. (Le Guide des bonnes affaires du vin 2016 - Gerbelle & Maurange) This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the very expression of its appellation: beautiful red fruit, bursting with sunshine and a fresh attack that counterbalances its overall power. Excellent value for money!

Rated estate (2016 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Located on the terroirs near Orange, the 5 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape include century-old vines, which explains the intensity of the 2012 vintage presented here. The Côtes-du-Rhône wines from the same estate are also remarkable, and the young couple of winemakers now in charge are doing an exemplary job. Before this wine becomes too well known, give it a chance to find its way into your cellar.
