"This is a rich, warm wine with aromas of candied fruit, prunes, and cherries soaked in brandy. A clean attack leads into a full-bodied, long finish, with silky tannins nicely accented by hints of cinnamon. A truly beautiful wine for fine dining." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)

About the wine:
This is a rich, warm wine with aromas of candied fruit, prunes, and cherries soaked in brandy. A clean attack leads into a full-bodied, long-finishing palate, with silky tannins nicely accented by hints of cinnamon. A truly beautiful wine for fine dining.
About the estate:

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2018 guide) 90/100 (Excellent wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
The 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is slightly below the wonderful 2015 vintage, but it remains excellent. With a 70-30 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre, aged in concrete tanks, it offers aromas of dried black fruits and cola that extend into a hint of leather. Full-bodied, chewy, and tannic, this traditionally crafted wine needs a few years to soften.
