La Cristia is a magnificent vineyard near Rayas, ideal for the fine-grained character of Grenache grapes, much like Roquette, where the estate also owns a vineyard. Étienne Grangeon skillfully crafts wine from superb grapes, but he also does so with boldness and a constant quest for the ideal style—one he has not yet found.

A winery founded in 1942 by the grandfather, expanded and improved by the father, Alain Grangeon. A new leap in quality began in 1999 with the third generation (Baptiste, Dominique, and Florent): bottling and direct sales, reduced yields, single-vineyard selections, and the gradual conversion of the 56 ha to organic farming. A benchmark in Châteauneuf.
