Grandes Serres
Since 1977, Grandes Serres has been based in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. More recently, the wine merchant established its winemaking facilities in Gigondas to produce its Rhône Valley wines. In 2001, investor Michel Picard took over Grandes Serres, extending its reach as far as Ontario.
Through partnerships with Rhône Valley winemakers,Grandes Serres covers multiple appellations in the southern Rhône Valley, notably Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages for its "Les Portes du Castelas" and "Le Jas de Belle" vintages, Gigondas for "La Combe des Marchands," Vacqueyras for "Les Hautes Vacquières," Beaume de Venise for "Rocca Luna," Châteauneuf-du-Pape for "La Cour des Papes," and Tavel for "La Rose d'Aimée."
Grandes Serres also owns vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (which are part of the blend for "La Cour des Papes") and an estate in Lirac, "Domaine des Cigalounes."
