Domaine La Célestière
Owned by the Joyce family, La Célestière is a 26-hectare vineyard spanning the Vin de Pays, Côtes-du-Rhône, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellations.
In 2010, the estate began its transition to organic viticulture, with the first vintages receiving certification in 2013. As a result, the old vines at La Célestière, planted between 1918 and 1920, are treated with no chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
Thanks to the modernization of the winery’s equipment, La Célestière’s wines are produced in strict accordance with regional traditions: the reds have very little oak influence, as they are aged in concrete tanks, demi-muids, or large oak casks.
