Les Cailloux Estate - André Brunel
This family estate, dating back to the 17th century, is run by André Brunel, who took over Les Cailloux in 1971 and decided to eliminate all pesticides and cover the entire vineyard with grass.

Today, the André Brunel estate, better known abroad than in France, is one of the elite estates of Châteauneuf du Pape. The Les Cailloux vineyard is divided into three appellations: the flagship appellation is, of course, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with 21 hectares of varied soils, including rounded pebbles, sand, and clay; Côtes du Rhône, with 40 hectares of vines and clay-sand alluvial soils; and Vin de Pays de Vaucluse, with 30 hectares of vines on river alluvial soils. The Les Cailloux vineyard is mainly planted with Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cinsault for red wines, and Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Clairette for white wines.

In 2012, Fabrice Brunel, André Brunel's son, joined theLes Cailloux estate.
