“Deep color with youthful highlights. The nose evokes the garrigue, with notes of cinnamon and stone fruits. The palate confirms the wine’s dominant fruitiness. The texture is supple and elegant. The minty freshness on the finish is particularly pleasing. A cuvée that emphasizes finesse.” (Le Guide des Vins 2016 - Gilbert & Gaillard)

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2016 guide) 17/20 + Editor's Choice ( Top Pick)
Rated estate (2017 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)
About the wine:
Its inimitable peony aroma, reminiscent of the great Pinot Noirs—incredibly charming and delicate—will surprise many. It stands apart, yet has now become a classic of the appellation.
About the estate:
We are delighted to have lent a helping hand to this estate, which was relatively unknown until recently but has, since 2011, demonstrated a consistent style that places it at the forefront of the appellation. In this southern vineyard block, the Grenache grapes take on the finesse of Pinot or Cinsault, with a refined texture that will delight connoisseurs accustomed to fine Burgundies. The aging process has improved even further this year.
