“A perfect blend of power and finesse”
“A nose with very lively fruit aromas: stewed strawberries and figs, enhanced by floral and violet notes. Spicy, with hints of pepper and cloves, and a wonderfully fine tannic structure. Elegant, refined, and balanced. Extremely smooth.” (Jancis Robinson 2025)

Wine rated (2025 guide) 93/100
About the wine:
Aromas of pink pepper, cedar, and sandalwood give way to a medium-bodied palate—actually quite light—with lovely acidity and plenty of silky fruit. The tannins are still a bit rough around the edges for now, but should soften. A finish with notes of raspberry. Refreshing, nuanced, and complex. Aged primarily in demi-muids, with very little new oak.

About the wine:
Produced in the northern part of the appellation by the Clos du Caillou team, the 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Mas is composed of 50% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, and 10% Cinsault, partially destemmed and aged for 14 months in 85% demi-muids and 15% used barrels. With a production of approximately 1,000 cases, it displays deep ruby hues with plum highlights and offers beautiful aromas of red, blue, and black fruits mingled with notes of pepper, rose, blood orange, and various rich and spicy nuances. Concentrated and medium-bodied, it offers a pure, elegant, and complex palate, along with ripe tannins.
