"Lovely soft mouthfeel with depth. Very appealing fruit, fresh but perfectly balanced in its ripeness. The tannins envelop the fruit without overpowering it." (RVF June 2014 - 2013 Vintage Special) On the border with the renowned Gigondas appellation, the Chamfort estate's Côtes-du-Rhône Sablet plot is located on a terrace above the village. It is planted with Syrah vines around twenty years old and Grenache vines around fifty years old. This is a fine wine with beautiful red fruit and exceptional freshness.

Trained by the brilliant Alain Paret (his Saint-Joseph 420 Nuits is magnificent), Vasco Urruty Perdigao is at the helm of this estate, which boasts some superb terroirs in Sablet, Rasteau, and Vacqueyras. With the help of his wife Sonia, the two form an innovative and passionate winemaking duo. The estate has been moving towards organic farming for several years and has made significant progress in terms of winemaking. This is an estate on the rise! Bravo!
