1*Étoile

Hachette

"This special cuvée, which was Favorite the 2009 vintage, returns in fine form in a more complicated year. More elegant than powerful, the spicy fruit aromas permeate a beautifully structured, balanced palate, supported by mellow tannins and preserved freshness. A good classic." Rated estate (2019 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, consistent with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Christèle Plantevin loves cooking and wine. She had a career before returning to Cairanne to take over this family estate dating back to 1902, where the garrigue terroir (red clay subsoil and pebbles on the surface) gives her wines power and complexity. Limiting yields preserves the richness and character of both red and white wines.
