"A charming Côtes-du-Rhône offering excellent value for money"

“Tapenade, black cherry, violet, a hint of smoke: marked by a certain austerity yet rich in nuances, the nose intrigues as much as it captivates. Firm tannins with aging potential lend structure to a concentrated, full-bodied, and long palate, becoming warmer on the finish with its sunny notes of toasted thyme and immortelle. Patience is key. ” (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the wine:

Tapenade, black cherry, violet, a hint of smoke: marked by a certain austerity yet rich in nuance, the nose is as intriguing as it is captivating. Firm tannins with aging potential lend structure to a concentrated, full-bodied, and long-lasting palate, which becomes warmer on the finish with its sunny notes of toasted thyme and immortelle. Patience is key.

About the estate:

Formerly owned by the Flemish songwriter Robert Herberigs, this 28-hectare estate in the Ardèche (certified organic) has been run since 1998 by Roland Terrasse, his grandson. It owes its name to the “dove-white” stone used to build the Directoire-style château. Often in the spotlight for its Côtes-du-Rhône and Villages wines.
