"A charming Côtes-du-Rhône offering excellent value for money"

"Tapenade, black cherry, violet, smoky notes: marked by a certain austerity but rich in nuances, the nose is as intriguing as it is captivating. Firm tannins that deserve to age give structure to a concentrated, full-bodied and long palate, warmer on the finish with sunny notes of toasted thyme and immortelle. We wait patiently. About wine:

Tapenade, black cherry, violet, smoky notes: marked by a certain austerity but rich in nuances, the nose is as intriguing as it is captivating. Firm tannins that deserve to age give structure to a concentrated, full-bodied and long palate, warmer on the finish with sunny notes of toasted thyme and immortelle. We wait patiently.

About the estate:

Formerly owned by Flemish songwriter Robert Herberigs, this 28-hectare estate in Ardèche (certified organic) has been run since 1998 by Roland Terrasse, his grandson. It owes its name to the "dove-white" stone used to build the Directoire-style château. Often in the spotlight for its Côtes-du-Rhône and Villages wines.
