age-worthy wine

“A wonderful wine with incredible aromatic complexity!”

“This Saint-Andéol displays beautiful depth of color and a vigorous, toasty nose that bears the mark of 12 months in barrel. Candied morello cherries and violets shine through a dense, warm palate, structured by athletic tannins that carry the aromas detected on the nose all the way to the finish. A commanding and indulgent village wine with a promising future. ” (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

About the wine:

This Saint-Andéol boasts a beautiful depth of color and a robust, toasty nose that bears the mark of 12 months in barrel. Candied morello cherries and violets shine through a dense, warm palate, structured by athletic tannins that carry the aromas detected on the nose all the way to the finish. A commanding and indulgent village wine with a promising future.

About the estate:

Formerly owned by the Flemish songwriter Robert Herberigs, this 28-hectare estate in the Ardèche (certified organic) has been run since 1998 by Roland Terrasse, his grandson. It owes its name to the “dove-white” stone used to build the Directoire-style château. Often in the spotlight for its Côtes-du-Rhône and Villages wines.
