Domaine Marion Chirouze - Crozes-Hermitage L'Audacieuse 2022
3*Étoile
Hachette
"All the audacity of a Crozes".
"To the south of the cru, on stony alluvium mixed with red clay, flourish beautiful Syrah of venerable age (60 years), hand-picked at the very beginning of September and partially destemmed (70%). Well-served by the vintage, with no attempt at over-ripeness, this red offers everything you'd expect from a good, spontaneously pleasing Crozes: a clean, vibrant nose of lilac and crunchy blackcurrant, and a loose, sappy palate, barely oaky, held together by smooth tannins, with a hint of bitterness that doesn't betray its remarkable harmony". (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the domain :
La Roche-de-Glun, in the Drôme region, is a 23-hectare vineyard and orchard founded in 1950 by Raoul Chirouze. In 2021, his granddaughter Marion took over from her parents, converted the 15 ha of vines to organic farming and began winemaking on the estate. Production is exclusively dedicated to the Crozes-Hermitage appellation.
